HB 3 Board Goals

House Bill (HB 3) 3, a sweeping and historic school finance bill was passed by the 86th Texas Legislature in 2019 and signed by Gov. Greg Abbott. Under HB 3, school boards are required to adopt plans in early childhood literacy and math, as well as college, career, and military readiness. In accordance with HB3, below are listed the required Board Goals as approved by the RYSS Board of Education.
