Answer: No, a separate bedroom is not required for each foster child. However, they cannot sleep in the bedroom with an adult. If multiple children share a bedroom, there must be a separate bed for each child, along with space for their clothes, shoes, and personal property.
Are all children in foster care abused or troubled?
Answer: While most of the children in foster care have experienced some level of abuse, not every child in care is a victim of abuse. Some children have lost their parent(s) and no relative was available for guardianship.
