Foster Parent Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Mature and responsible adult.
• Financially stable.
• Owning or renting a residence.
• Complete an application.
• Provide contact information for 6 positive personal references, 3 relatives and 3 non-relatives.
• Be able to pass a background check.
• FBI fingerprints required for all household members 14 years old and up.
• Submit a health statement confirming your physical and mental ability to care for children.
• Be able to complete 35 hours of in-person training.
